Walsall North Elections
Below is the result from the last General Election held in the United Kingdom for the Walsall North Constituency.
In the 2017 General Election the Labour share of the vote increased by 3.8%, but with the collapse of the UKIP vote by 16% this created a surge in Conservative support. This led to long standing MP David Winnick being defeated by 2,601 votes. Walsall North therefore for only the second time in the constituencies history being represented by a Conservative.
Walsall North Labour will continue to expose the reality of Conservative austerity, cuts to council funding, real term cuts to our Police and the education of our children being carried our by both national and local Conservatives.
The fight to win back Walsall North has been taken up by PPC Gill Ogilvie, and will be taking the fight to incumbent MP Eddie Hughes whenever a general election falls.
Enough is enough, our town and the country deserves better than this.
The only alternative is to vote Labour. Don’t allow the Conservatives to continue to run our town and our country down.
