Under the Tories Walsall is on the wrong track, with reckless and wasteful spending putting jobs and livelihoods in Walsall at risk.
Tory-run Walsall Council agreed to hike council tax by an inflation-busting 3.99% – at the same time as spending £10 million on private consultants, splashing out £200,000 on a refurbishment of the council chamber, and boosting allowances for senior councillors.
Only Labour has a plan to build a better Walsall. We want to see a borough of thriving and dynamic traditional towns on the road to prosperity. And because we’re Labour we’ll make sure that prosperity is shared, building a fairer borough fit for the future.
